Throughout much of my 15 years of practicing yoga, I dreamed of becoming an instructor. In January 2020, when I was recruited as meditation leader on a yoga retreat in Baja, Mexico, a week of twice daily yoga rocked my world. My creativity flourished and I felt more aware, settled, confident, and loving.  Within a month of returning to US soil I was enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training. Since completing 230 hours of training in November 2020, whether teaching hatha, restorative, or vinyasa style, I weave resiliency, mindfulness, and mindful self-compassion into every pose. And I’m convinced that with intention, passion, and loving kindness, you, too, can experience yoga’s transformational change.
