Counseling and Psychotherapy
- $225.00 50-minute diagnostic interview/intake (first session)
- $200.00 50-minute individual therapy session
Insurance
- Tom is a participating provider of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
- PreferredOne sometimes reimburses Tom at the participating provider rate. Please confirm with PreferredOne before scheduling.
- Many insurance carriers provide reimbursement for mental health services after a deductible is met.
- Most health benefits policies in Minnesota provide some coverage for mental health treatment. If you want to use it for my services, I will provide you with whatever assistance I can in facilitating your receipt of the benefits to which you are entitled.
Out of Pocket or “Private Pay”
- Sliding fee available to 10% of Tom’s clients. $195.00 Initital/Intake session. $175.00 per 50-minute follow up, individual therapy session.

- $100.00 50-minute individual session.
- $75.00 90-minute group session.
- Sliding fee available for those with reduced income.
